Install & Sign In
Download
Section titled “Download”Grab the macOS app (Apple Silicon) from the download page — you’ll need the
access code you were given with your invite. The download is a .dmg: open
it and drag Plyy into Applications.
Release builds are signed and notarized — open the app from Applications as usual. If macOS still warns (rare, or you’re on an older ad-hoc build), right-click the app → Open, then confirm once.
Section titled “Sign in”Click Sign in in the top bar (it’s also on the start screen). Plyy uses email codes — no password:
- Enter your email (plus your name if it’s your first time — pick Sign up).
- Enter the 6-digit code from your inbox.
Signing in unlocks AI editing and publishing. You can create and edit projects without an account, but AI runs and publishing need one.
Stay up to date
Section titled “Stay up to date”Open Account (top bar) → Check for updates at the bottom of the panel. If a newer version exists you’ll get a download link — install it over the old app.
